Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 28, 2026

At MMAP Labs ("we," "our," or "us"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal information you provide to us when visiting our website (mmaplabs.com) or contacting us regarding our technology and licensing.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information through voluntary contact submissions as well as automated web server logging for security and operational purposes:

A. Voluntary Information: When you fill out our contact form or get in touch with us directly, we collect:

B. Automated Web Server & Traffic Logging: When you access our website, our Apache web servers automatically record standard access logs. This data includes your IP address, HTTP request headers, requested URLs, browser user-agent string, referrer URL, and timestamp.

2. How Your Data is Processed & Stored on Google Infrastructure

We use your contact information exclusively to communicate with you, respond to business inquiries, handle technology licensing requests, or discuss collaboration opportunities.

Storage on Google's Infrastructure: Inbound communications sent via our contact form or direct email are delivered to and maintained within our enterprise cloud email infrastructure hosted on Google Workspace (Google LLC) servers. By transmitting your email address and contact information to us, you acknowledge and agree that your data will be stored securely within Google's cloud server infrastructure subject to Google's enterprise data protection and privacy standards.

3. Server Security & ModSecurity / OWASP Threat Logging

We enforce strict technical and organizational security measures to protect our infrastructure against unauthorized access, malicious probing, and cyber threats.

ModSecurity & OWASP Web Application Firewall (WAF) Logging: To safeguard our web application and underlying systems, we deploy web application firewall filtering (including ModSecurity and OWASP Core Rule Sets). If traffic originating from an IP address exhibits malicious behavior, automated exploit attempts, probing, SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), or suspected/likely cyber attacks, our firewall engines automatically capture and record detailed security event logs. These logs include IP addresses, full request payload data, attack signatures, and diagnostic headers for incident response, threat mitigation, and network defense.

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information or server log data to third parties or marketing brokers.

4. Data Retention

We retain contact information and correspondence only for as long as necessary to fulfill the business purpose for which it was submitted or to satisfy applicable legal, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal contact information we hold about you. To submit a request, please contact us at rob@mmaplabs.com.
